3741 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Unit 103, Lahaina, HI

The family that has owned 103 since the building opened bought it for its light, and long-time guests still ask for it by name. This ground floor, direct oceanfront 1 bedroom, 1 bath sits a few steps from the pool and the water at Kulakane, a small, low-key complex on the Mahinahina coast between Kaanapali and Kapalua. It was updated alongside 102 next door, with tasteful, relaxed finishes, tile, updated bath fixtures, and newer appliances. It's turnkey and ready for your first trip. Green sea turtles feed right offshore, and a cut in the reef gives you an easy swim out to snorkel. Whales pass through all winter. Sunsets over Molokai and Lanai finish the day. B2 zoning sets Kulakane apart on this coast, and the on-site rental desk can handle vacation stays when you aren't here. The permitted seawall was rebuilt in 2015 and is fully paid for. Amenities include an oceanfront pool, gas BBQs, on-site laundry and free parking.102 next door is also available. A fantastic opportunity for rentals or extra space for family and friends.
